About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Priory Wellbeing Centre Harley Street, a leading outpatient treatment centre in London.

As a Visiting Consultant, you will have the opportunity to build and manage a private outpatient practice while contributing to our inpatient services. Your expertise in General Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and treat a diverse outpatient population with complex needs.
  • Oversee the care of inpatients within your specialty, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and psychologists to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Promote quality improvement and governance activities to drive excellence in patient care.
  • Expand your practice in alignment with Priory's prestigious reputation for providing exceptional mental health services.
  • Nurture professional relationships with colleagues and referral sources to enhance your practice.
  • Maintain professional development and meet Revalidation requirements to ensure your skills remain up-to-date.
Requirements:
  • GMC registration with relevant specialist registration.
  • Significant experience in psychiatry and substance misuse.
  • A strong understanding of Clinical Governance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Successful completion of a DBS check, funded by Priory.

The estimated salary for this role is £120,000 - £150,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive package to reflect your expertise and contributions to our team.
