We are seeking a skilled Civils Estimator to join our client's team in the Gateshead area. As a Civils Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our client's business, working on projects up to £500k - £15m.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Civils Estimating, with a strong background in analysis, costing, and tendering. You will be responsible for:

  • Analyzing tender documents and contract terms
  • Preparing detailed estimates and pricing
  • Developing subcontract terms and conditions
  • Creating value propositions and tenders
  • Managing variations and obtaining prices
  • Attending site visits during the tender stage
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in Civils Estimating
  • A valid CSCS card
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
