Civils Estimator Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Civils Estimator to join our client's team in the Gateshead area. As a Civils Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of their Civil Engineering business.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Civils Estimating, with a strong track record of delivering projects up to £500k - £15m. You will be responsible for analyzing tender documents, taking off and pricing from drawings, and developing tenders. A valid CSCS card is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis of tender documents and contract terms and conditions
  • Take offs and pricing from drawings
  • Ability to work using own initiative
  • Costing and developing whole life cycle costs
  • Developing subcontract terms and conditions
  • Developing a value proposition
  • Developing tenders
  • Obtaining prices and dealing with variations
  • Attend site visits during tender stage
