Civils Estimator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civils Estimator to join our client's team in the Gateshead area. As a Civils Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing tender documents, taking off and pricing from drawings, and developing tenders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analysis of tender documents and contract terms and conditions
  • Take offs and pricing from drawings
  • Developing tenders and obtaining prices
  • Attending site visits during the tender stage
  • Planning and producing product/service specifications
  • Reading technical drawings and conducting risk assessments
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Commercial awareness and effective communication
  • Problemsolving and teamwork
  • Working to tight deadlines

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Civils Estimator to join a reputable Main Contractor and work on projects up to £500k-£15m. Our client values strong relationships with their clients and has a high percentage of repeat business.

As a Civils Estimator, you will have 5+ years of experience in the industry, a valid CSCS card, and a degree preferred. You will be self-motivated, ambitious, and career-motivated to develop and progress.
