Civils Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Civils Estimator to join our client's team in the Gateshead area. As a Civils Estimator, you will be responsible for analyzing tender documents, taking off and pricing from drawings, and developing tenders.
Key Responsibilities:- Analysis of tender documents and contract terms and conditions
- Take offs and pricing from drawings
- Developing tenders and obtaining prices
- Attending site visits during the tender stage
- Planning and producing product/service specifications
- Reading technical drawings and risk assessment
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Commercial awareness and effective communication
- Problemsolving and teamwork
- Working to tight deadlines
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in Civils Estimating, a valid CSCS card, and a degree. They will be self-motivated, ambitious, and career-motivated to develop and progress.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a Civils Estimator to join a Main Contractor with a strong reputation for building relationships with clients. The company has a high percentage of repeat business and a strong client referral network.
