About the Role:
The Diocese of Guildford is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Project Manager to lead the Hear Here project, a community-focused initiative that aims to assist individuals with hearing loss.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and management of the Hear Here project, ensuring its smooth operation and growth.
- Promote the project across the diocese, highlighting its importance in parish outreach and mission.
- Collect and analyze data from clinics to inform accurate and timely reporting.
- Respond to client inquiries, assisting them in accessing clinics and maintaining the online directory.
- Identify and secure ongoing funding to sustain and expand the project.
- Enhance the visibility of Hear Here within the Diocese, increasing the number of clinics and their role in community outreach.
- Collaborate with NHS trusts to provide up-to-date training and support.
- Manage a team of volunteers to ensure clinics run consistently, safely, and according to required standards.
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Administer and oversee project governance.
Requirements:
- Hold a UK driving license and have access to a vehicle for travel within the diocese.
