Estates Strategy Delivery Manager

Location: Surrey (Hybrid)

Rate: £630 per day (Umbrella)

Contract Type: Temporary / Contract

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Estates Strategy Delivery Manager to support the delivery of Estates Development Strategy Projects across the Surrey property portfolio. The role involves managing the delivery of projects, including property disposals, refurbishments, and new builds, with a focus on ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the delivery of Estates Development Strategy projects across a diverse property portfolio.
  2. Oversee the planning and execution of projects, including disposals, refurbishments, and new builds.
  3. Work collaboratively to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  4. Provide strategic advice on real estate, including land value, development opportunities, and project feasibility.
  5. Ensure full compliance with all health and safety regulations, including CDM 2015.
  6. Monitor and manage risk throughout all stages of project delivery.
  7. Ensure projects adhere to Standard Forms of Contract and manage contract negotiations.
  8. Oversee financial management of capital and revenue budgets, ensuring accountability for cost-effective delivery.

Essential Experience & Qualifications:

  1. Extensive experience in estates/construction programme management.
  2. Degree in architecture, surveying, construction, or engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
  3. Demonstrable experience in a senior position, managing estates strategy, construction projects, and project planning.
  4. Experience managing multiple projects with varied value ranges.
  5. Fully conversant with CDM 2015 and all Standard Forms of Contract.
  6. Strong experience in risk management and providing strategic real estate advice.
  7. Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage services across a multi-site organisation.
  8. Extensive financial experience, including accountability for capital/revenue budgets.
  9. Knowledge of CIL/S106 and experience preparing planning applications and appeal documentation.
  10. A proactive, innovative, and strategic thinker capable of driving projects to successful completion.
