Job Title: Maritime Harbours Officer

Location: Truro and Penryn Harbours, Malpas Marina

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Maritime Harbours Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our harbours and marina, working alternate weekends with 8 hour shifts from 0800 to 1600.

  • Fixed-term contract from May to September
  • A marine-related qualification (RYA Competency, Boatman's Licence, RYA Short Range Certificate, First Aid Certificate) would be beneficial in this role
  • An excellent understanding of customer care and local waters knowledge would be an advantage
  • Uniforms will be provided

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you are passionate about maritime operations and have a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service, we encourage you to apply.

Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 per annum
