Job Title: Study Skills Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Study Skills Specialist to join our team at Randstad. As a Study Skills Specialist, you will work closely with autistic students studying at Universities and/or Colleges in Dundee, providing individualized learning support and academic guidance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Provide academic guidance and support to students, helping them to become independent learners
  • Support students in developing their research skills, including identifying and using credible sources
  • Help students to build on their strengths and learning strategies, including organization and time management
  • Ensure that students have the necessary skills to succeed in their academic pursuits
Requirements:
  • Experience working with autistic clients
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to identify ways of helping students to build on their learning strengths while maintaining a confidential and professional working relationship
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to manage a caseload of students
