Job Description

Randstad Student Support is seeking a Specialist-one-to-one Study Skills Support Worker to work with autistic students studying at Universities and/or Colleges in Dundee. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with clients with autism spectrum disorder and be passionate about improving a student's academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide learning support and academic guidance to students with autism spectrum disorder
  • Create individual learning plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Support students to develop independence, build on strengths and learning strategies, and create strategies around organisation and time management
  • Help students to build on research skills, widen knowledge by using a variety of sources, and distinguish appropriate sources and how to correctly use references
  • Support students to build on comprehension skills within reading and writing
