We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our team in Morecambe. As a registered mental health nurse, you will be responsible for supporting dementia assessments and care planning in a multidisciplinary setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop evidence-based care plans to support dementia diagnosis and treatment.
  • Implement effective strategies and interventions for the treatment of dementia, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to refer patients to appropriate services or agencies, guaranteeing comprehensive care.
  • Identify and address risk factors, prioritizing patient safety and wellbeing.
  • Provide mentorship and clinical supervision to staff and trainees.
  • Act as a communication link between GPs, non-statutory services, and other agencies to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Support the team manager in delivering effective leadership and oversight of care processes.

  • Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
  • Contract Duration: 3 Months
  • Estimated Salary: £25.00 per hour (£18,750 per month)
  • Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available
