Job Summary

The primary objective of this role is to ensure seamless day-to-day shift operations and manage daily activities in accordance with the guidance of the General Manager or Assistant Manager. As a key support role, the Supervisor will be assigned tasks that align with their strengths and weaknesses, facilitating their professional growth and development.

Guest Experience

Responsible for delivering exceptional customer service during scheduled shifts and overseeing the sections under their supervision.

Handles table payments and ensures a smooth payment process.

Audits server performance and monitors service standards to maintain a high level of quality.

Ensures the steps of service are followed to guarantee a positive guest experience.

Team Champion

Upon request, may be responsible for recruitment and selection tasks to support the growth of the team.

Maintains a strong relationship with the management team and serves as a vital link between team members and management.

Handles customer queries and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

Follows up on Front-of-House training to ensure staff are equipped to provide excellent service.

Oversees the performance of front-line staff to ensure they meet the highest standards.

Brand Excellence

Maintains product quality by conducting regular spot checks of buffet products.

Ensures the team adheres to safety standards and protocols.

Ensures the team follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Checks that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

Communication

Encourages clear and engaging communication between Back-of-House and Front-of-House teams.

Recognizes and praises team members for their outstanding performance.

Empowers and energizes the team with informative and positive team briefs.

Restaurant Operations

Responsible for shift organization and ensuring smooth shift operations.

Conducts staff briefings and ensures a seamless operation during their shift.

Assumes full financial accountability during the General Manager's or Assistant Manager's absence.

Follows the opening, changeover, and closing checklist to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and health and safety.

Assigns daily duties to the team to ensure a well-organized and efficient work environment.

Responsible for key positions such as Bar, Reception, or Delivery.
