Ribble Valley

We are seeking a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead this award-winning dining establishment in Ribble Valley. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a passionate kitchen and Front of House team, known for their creativity and commitment to local, seasonal produce. As a leader in this venue, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards and enhancing their reputation for outstanding customer satisfaction and service.

Ideal Profile:

  • Proven experience managing an AA Rosette standard venue or similar high-quality dining environment
  • Innate ability to anticipate and meet guests' needs, enhancing their overall dining experience with every interaction
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in motivating, leading, and developing a team, promoting a positive work environment that encourages staff excellence and retention
  • Skilled in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and maximizing profitability while upholding the highest standards of service and quality
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, resolve operational challenges, and ensure smooth restaurant operations

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring all services meet the high standards expected
  • Engage proactively with guests, gathering feedback, addressing concerns, and ensuring a memorable dining experience to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty
  • Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff; schedule shifts, conduct performance evaluations, and develop training programs to elevate service standards
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team to develop and update menus, ensuring offerings align with guest preferences and seasonal availability
  • Manage the restaurant's budget, control inventory, and analyse financial performance to meet revenue and cost targets
  • Work with the team to promote the restaurant, develop special events and promotions, and maintain the restaurant's prestigious image
