NHS Talking Therapies Role

We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated CBT Therapist to join our Solihull Talking Therapies Team.

The team provides a Primary Care Psychological Therapies Service for clients experiencing common mental health difficulties.

About the Job

This role is suitable for qualified NHS Talking Therapies High Intensity Practitioners or Qualified CBT Therapists. In return, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of primary care mental health service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • To deliver high-intensity cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT) interventions to individuals experiencing common mental health difficulties.
  • To work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
RequirementsEssential Qualifications
  • Post Graduate Diploma in CBT from High Intensity IAPT Course or equivalent.
  • Equivalent qualification: e.g. recorded/registered qualification in one of the following - mental health nursing, social work, occupational therapy, arts therapy or a psychological therapy - plus further post graduate qualification training in CBT BABCP Accredited.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Full range of skills and competencies as laid out in the competence framework for CBT (Roth and Pilling 2007).
  • Computer literate.
Experience
  • Demonstrable experience of working in mental health services.
  • Demonstrates high standards in written communication.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £51,386 - £76,676 per annum.
