Birmingham, Birmingham, United Kingdom St Andrew's Healthcare Full time

We are St Andrew's, a leading mental health charity dedicated to delivering exceptional care and services to individuals with complex needs.

Our vision is a society where everyone living with mental health challenges has hope for the future. We achieve this by working collaboratively with other organizations to provide specialist mental healthcare services that transform lives.

The role of a Psychological Therapist at St Andrew's involves providing evidence-based treatments to patients with severe complex needs. This includes utilizing multi-modal interventions like Dialectical Behaviour, Cognitive Behaviour, or other manualized treatment protocols. As part of our team, you will work autonomously within professional guidelines and collaborate with others to ensure comprehensive care.

You will be responsible for organizing and providing teaching and training as required. Additionally, you will collect and interpret data regarding the outcomes of your interventions.

**About You**

To excel in this role, you should have a recognized qualification as a therapist and possess excellent risk assessment and management skills. Effective communication is crucial, so you must be able to convey information clearly, sensitively, and accurately.

Experience in delivering other psychological interventions is desirable but not essential.

**Compensation and Benefits**

We offer an attractive compensation package, including an estimated annual salary of £35,000 - £40,000 (dependent on experience). Additional benefits include a pension scheme, sickness policy comparable to the NHS, access to Blue Light Card and Health Service Discounts schemes, 35 days' annual leave (increasing to 41 after 10 years), life cover, electric car lease scheme, cycle-to-work scheme, healthcare cash plan, free parking, and more. Our state-of-the-art facilities feature a gym, swimming pool, cafés, and beautifully maintained grounds, all set within easy reach.
