About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Alexander Faraday Recruitment. As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in supporting our client's Employee Relations function in a positive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations Management: Manage and advise on complex and day-to-day Employee Relations cases, ensuring that all matters are handled in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, managers, and union representatives.
  • Guidance and Empowerment: Guide and empower managers through change, providing them with the necessary support and resources to make informed decisions.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assist in compiling key reports and analyzing data to inform HR strategies and initiatives.
  • HR Projects: Support various HR projects, including employee engagement initiatives and union liaison activities.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in an end-to-end HR/ER role, with ER experience in a unionized environment being highly desirable.
  • Personality: A strong and organized personality, coupled with a friendly and positive attitude, is essential for this role.
  • Adaptability: The ability to work in a very busy and ever-changing environment, with a proven track record of adapting to new situations.
