Job Title: Higher-Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) in a specialist provision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized support to pupils with EHCPs, working closely with the SENCO and SLT to plan and deliver interventions.
  • Support students with their transition into school, ensuring a smooth and successful integration.
  • Work alongside the school team to develop and implement strategies to meet the needs of pupils with SEN and EBD.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with SEN or SEMH students is essential.
  • Current Enhanced DBS check registered with the Update Service or willingness to undergo one upon application.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Registration with Teaching Personnel before commencement.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive rate of £110+ per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • A 37-hour working week, term-time only, including INSET days.
