Job Title: Higher-Level Teaching Assistant and Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant and Intervention Specialist to join our team at Teaching Personnel. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with students who require additional support and make a positive impact on their educational journey.

Job Summary:

This role involves delivering personalized support to students with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). You will work closely with the school's Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to plan and deliver interventions that cater to the academic, social, and emotional needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver personalized support to students with EHCPs, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO and SLT to plan and deliver interventions that meet the needs of students.
  • Support students with their transition into school, ensuring a smooth and successful integration.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and school staff to ensure effective communication and support.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) is essential.
  • Current Enhanced DBS check registered with the Update Service or willingness to undergo one upon application.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Registration with Teaching Personnel before commencement (vetting procedures and references from the last two years of employment will be necessary).
What We Offer:
  • A competitive rate of £110+ per day, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • A 37-hour working week, term-time only, including INSET days.
