Job Title: Teaching Assistant - SEMH Support

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist secondary school provision in Knutsford. The successful candidate will work closely with a group of five Year 8 pupils with SEMH needs, providing personalized support to foster their academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored support to Year 8 students with SEMH requirements
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies
  • Contribute to the execution of Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Encourage students' engagement and advancement

Requirements:

  • Experience in a SEMH setting
  • Ability to work with students with SEMH needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
