Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Support Specialist. This role will involve providing administrative support to the ward sister or shift coordinator, ensuring the efficient running of the unit.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the ward sister or shift coordinator
  • Meet and greet patients and relatives in a professional manner
  • Deal with general telephone enquiries and refer on to other staff members if necessary
  • Track and update patient movement through the unit
  • Participate in data collection for audits

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent experience
  • Good standard of literacy and numeracy
  • Customer care training
