This is an exciting chance to be part of a renowned team, working collaboratively with existing consultants and within a wider multi-professional team. Estimated salary range for this position is £76,761 - £103,490.

Key Responsibilities:
  • As a member of the oncology team, you will deliver comprehensive cancer services to the population of North and South Staffordshire and South Cheshire.
  • The appointee will have service commitments in the Cancer Centre at both Royal Stoke University Hospital and the County Hospital site.

The post is based at the University Hospital of North Midlands Cancer Centre. Clinical duties will be across both the Royal Stoke Hospital site and at County Hospital site.

About Us

The UHNM Cancer Centre at Royal Stoke Hospital provides world-class, patient-centered, specialized cancer services to the population. All inpatient, day case, and the majority of outpatient clinics and Radiotherapy are delivered within a purpose-built center which opened in 2009.

The post requires experience of conducting clinical audit, possession of MRCP or equivalent qualification in medical oncology, MD or PhD. Evidence of training in research methodology and commitment to Continuing Medical Education and Professional Development are also essential.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is £76,761 - £103,490. The successful candidate will be entitled to a competitive benefits package, including appropriate Immigration Status and ability to travel within 10 miles or 30 minutes of base.
