About the Role

Bestwood Village School is seeking a dedicated and innovative SEN Teacher to join our team. As an SEN Educator, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and safe learning environment for our pupils, promoting their academic growth and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate a capable learning environment where pupils thrive, have their needs met, and access positive interactions.
  • Develop and implement high-quality teaching strategies to ensure effective learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to drive academic excellence and improve pupil achievement.
  • Supervise and manage Teaching Assistants to optimize their impact on pupil learning.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to provide comprehensive support to our pupils.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Demonstrate experience in teaching English and Maths, delivering exceptional results.
  • Primary Teacher with expertise in teaching EYFS Years 1-4 and SEND Teaching.
