About the Role:

Finitas is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. As a Compliance Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring our company's compliance with relevant insurance regulations and providing strategic advice to senior management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance Policy Development: Review and enhance compliance policies and procedures to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to insurance laws and regulations, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Audit and Risk Assessment: Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance.
  • Regulatory Guidance: Provide expert guidance on regulatory issues, ensuring that senior management and stakeholders are informed and compliant.
  • Strategic Advice: Offer strategic advice to senior management regarding compliance risks and mitigation, ensuring that the company remains compliant and competitive.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with legal, finance, and operational teams to implement best practices and ensure compliance across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Compliance Experience: Proven experience in compliance within financial services, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, including risk management, data privacy, and financial regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and advisory skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex regulatory information to senior management and stakeholders.
