Senior AML Advisor Job Description

AJ FOX COMPLIANCE is seeking an experienced Senior AML Advisor to join their expert team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with a strong background in regulatory compliance, AML, and financial crime risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • AML/CTF and Sanctions Compliance: Provide expert guidance and insight to ensure firmwide alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Financial Crime Compliance: Cultivate the team's knowledge of financial crime compliance, aligned with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaboration and Leadership: Collaborate with senior leaders to address complex financial crime regulations and risk management challenges.
  • Training and Development: Develop and deliver training sessions to new joiners and ad-hoc training to internal teams, enhancing the firm's understanding of financial crime processes.
  • Client Onboarding: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient processes for onboarding new clients.
  • Project Management: Assist in managing new business requests, overseeing workflows, and ensuring effective prioritisation and delegation to the junior team.

The ability to manage multiple tasks independently while keeping attention to detail is key. Strong communication skills are essential, as is experience leading projects and mentoring junior colleagues.
