Gateshead Health invites applications for a Band 7 Physiologist position in our Respiratory Physiology Department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of respiratory physiology.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing and interpreting a range of physiological tests, including spirometry, gas transfer, and static lung volumes. Key responsibilities also include supervising equipment, maintaining high safety standards, and participating in research or audit projects.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in clinical physiology or equivalent science-related subject
  • Experience in respiratory physiology, with a strong understanding of relevant tests and procedures
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Salary: Approximately £54,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + comprehensive benefits package offered by Gateshead Health.
