Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at Miller Mckenzie. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing and developing key national accounts within the building materials sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop key national accounts, focusing on merchants and buying groups within the building materials sector.
  • Split time between working from the office and travelling to meet with customers across the North of England, building and nurturing strong relationships.
  • Drive sales and maximise revenue opportunities, contributing to overall business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver bespoke solutions that meet customer needs and ensure smooth delivery of products.
  • Identify new business opportunities and stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to optimise account performance.
  • Regularly attend client meetings, fostering long-term relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a National Account Manager, ideally within the building materials sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the merchant and buying group landscape.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
