We are seeking a proactive and collaborative HR Partner to join our forward-thinking national Multi-Academy Trust, Aldridge Education.

This role will encompass HR management across three education settings in Brighton and Hove: Aldridge Adult Learning, Brighton Aldridge Community Academy, and Portslade Aldridge Community Academy.

About the Role

You will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of our trust by supporting our schools and central team with strategic HR initiatives.

As an HR Partner with Aldridge Education, you will work closely with school leaders, the central HR team, and the wider trust leadership to deliver expert HR guidance and support.

Purpose of the Role
  • To act as the first point of call in the provision of school support to our Brighton-based schools
  • To work closely with the Chief People Officer and the broader HR team to contribute to and implement national initiatives

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing a proactive HR service at senior advisor level within the education sector.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert HR guidance and support to school leaders and the central HR team
  • Contributing to and implementing national HR initiatives
  • Acting as the first point of call for school support

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

A professional qualification relevant to the post such as CIPD Level 5 (Level 7 desirable)

Extensive experience in providing robust, proactive employee relations advice

Advanced keyboard skills, software expertise, Word, and Excel

Demonstratable experience of working with a HR database i.e. People HR, ITrent, bespoke systems

Able to use own initiative and work alone when necessary

Extensive attention to detail with ability to maintain accurate and up to date records

Experience in implementing and supporting organisation change management

Ability to meet tight deadlines and plan and manage own time effectively; well organised
