Education Support Professional

Academics Ltd is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join their team as a Learning Support Assistant. This role is ideal for those looking to gain valuable experience in the classroom, working with pupils who require additional support to succeed.
The successful candidate will work alongside teachers and specialist staff to support students with special educational needs or those who require additional support to remain focused in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with special educational needs or those who require additional support
- Work alongside teachers and specialist staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
- Assist students in developing their social and emotional skills
- Provide one-to-one support to students as needed
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to remain calm in situations of stress or conflict
- Motivated and enthusiastic
- Approachable and able to build relationships with teachers and students
