Bright Horizons Little Stars Day Nursery and Preschool is a 63-place nursery rated 'Good' by Ofsted, located in Harwell, Oxfordshire, with onsite parking and good transport links.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a full-time Early Years Assistant to join our nursery team, responsible for providing a caring and supportive environment for children aged 0-5, promoting their development, and ensuring their welfare and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality childcare and education.
- Support children's learning and development through interactive play, activities, and reading.
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing daily updates on their child's activities.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive nursery environment, promoting teamwork and respect among colleagues.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children is ideal, but not essential.
- Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and children.
- Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
