Job Title: CAMHS Play Psychotherapist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Play Therapist to join our CAMHS under 14's team in Norfolk and Waveney.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative team, providing specialist mental health care to children and young people.

As a Play Therapist, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based assessment and therapeutic intervention to children and young people with mental health difficulties.

Main Duties
  • Provide specialist Play Therapy to children and young people with mental health difficulties.
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines, while being a valued member of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Offer advice and consultation on young people's psychological care to colleagues and other agencies.
  • Participate in regular clinician supervision and opportunities for training and development.
Requirements
  • Masters level/professional Play Therapy qualification.
  • Registration with a professional body as a Play Therapist.
  • Evidence of providing all aspects of Play Psychotherapy to clients, carers, and significant others.
  • Group work in mental health.
