Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Play Therapist to join our CAMHS under 14's team in Norfolk and Waveney. The successful candidate will have a 30 hours per week vacancy in our Central team, based at Mary Chapman House, Norwich.

The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering Play Therapy to children and young people, as well as a broader comprehensive range of skills and knowledge to deliver the additional clinical aspects of the role. They will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written and enjoy being part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team.

As a valued member of our team, the successful candidate will be expected to work autonomously within professional guidelines, providing specialist evidenced based assessment and therapeutic intervention to children and young people with mental health difficulties. They will also be required to work collaboratively with colleagues and other agencies to provide advice and consultation on young people's psychological care.

Main Duties of the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist Play Therapy to children and young people with mental health difficulties. They will work closely with colleagues and other agencies to develop and implement treatment plans, and will be expected to maintain accurate records of their work.
