Business Development Adviser

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Business Development Professional to join our team at Able Personnel in Cannock, Staffordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business leads and securing sales through a range of business-to-business activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To work with a range of partners to develop links and referral points to generate an extensive network chain leading to multiple pipeline creation.
  • To assist the organisation in acquiring new customers and selling additional products or services to existing ones.
  • To deliver outstanding customer service to all customers, achieving outstanding results for all targets.
  • To research new markets and organisations to identify the decision maker and make contact.
  • To create an effective pipeline of activity, identifying organisations that provide scalability in the market and new development areas. To pitch to customers as required and persist in sales even in the face of failure.
  • To develop quality presentations, quotes, and negotiate with customers.
  • To follow quality assurance processes and update the CRM with all contacts.
  • To generate quality leads for all targets and pipeline activity.
  • To identify new customers and repeat business from existing accounts.
  • To innovate regarding marketing and customer identification, ensuring attention to detail and demonstrating superior time management skills and meeting sales deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a sales or business development environment, ideally with knowledge of training, apprenticeships, or education programmes. They will also need good communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone, and be experienced in holding meetings face-to-face or via Teams. A UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle for work are also essential requirements.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 basic, plus uncapped quarterly bonus. You will also benefit from a mileage allowance for all business miles, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, pension scheme, mobile and laptop, friendly and supportive working environment, annual events and staff away days, and after one year's service, an additional day given for time off on your birthday, and an extra day accrued each year for the next four years to a total of 30 days holiday.
