Job Title: Senior Professional Services Manager

Job Summary:

Ideagen is a global leader in software solutions, and we're seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Manager to lead our Professional Services Department. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that align with client needs and contribute significantly to the company's overall success.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead and manage multiple teams and senior staff.
  • Mentor and coach managers to foster a high-performing team environment.

Strategic Development:

  • Develop and implement the department's strategic goals and initiatives.
  • Drive improvement and innovation within the professional services function.

Client and Business Management:

  • Manage client relationships at senior levels to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth.
  • Represent the department at senior management meetings and events.

Resource and Budget Management:

  • Oversee resource allocation and budget management across multiple projects.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources to meet project goals and financial targets.

Risk Management:

  • Manage risks and issues across the department to minimise potential impacts.

Requirements:

Multi-tasking and Pressure Handling:

  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Project and Team Management:

  • Extensive experience in managing complex professional services projects and teams.

Market and Competitor Insight:

  • Deep understanding of market trends and competitor landscape.

Business Development and Financial Acumen:

  • Strong business development skills with a keen sense for sales and commercial awareness.
  • Financial awareness with the capability to manage budgets and resources efficiently.

Communication and Presentation:

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, especially at senior management levels.

Influence and Negotiation:

  • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively at the C-suite level.

Leadership and Strategic Thinking:

  • Visionary leadership with strong strategic thinking skills to drive the department and company forward.
