Our School

The Corner School is a Special Independent School for children with SEMH needs, providing a high-quality education and specialist support.

Role Overview

The Inclusion Lead will play a key role in our small school community, working collaboratively with the Head Teacher to promote inclusive practice and support children with SEMH needs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Teacher in developing inclusive practice to promote pupil social, emotional, mental well-being, and achievement.
  • Support the Head Teacher in the day-to-day operation of specific school policies and processes.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality SEND provision, including leading on EHCP annual review meetings and submitting statutory documentation.
  • Support the development and updating of documentation, including risk management and safety planning for pupils.
  • Assist the Head Teacher with safeguarding and administrative duties as the school's Deputy DSL.
  • Support the Head Teacher in development, improvement, and strategic work across the school.
