Are you a recent or soon-to-be veterinary graduate looking to embark on a successful and fulfilling career in veterinary medicine? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for an Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join our Penmellyn Veterinary Group team in St Columb Major Hospital, Cornwall.

About the Role

You'll be working closely with our supportive and friendly Equine team of 5 Vets and 3 part-time Equine Nurses, who are always looking for new ways to improve their skills and knowledge. Our hospital facilities and equipment include stables, stocks, equine theatre, equine digital x-ray suite, ultrasonography, gastroscope, endoscope, and more.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 per annum, plus benefits including:

  • A 40-hour week with a 1 in 4 weekday rota and 1:6 weekend and night shifts
  • 6 weeks holiday per year, plus your birthday as a paid day off
