About the Role

Parke Lane People is seeking an IT Infrastructure Strategist to join their expanding team in Oxford. As a key member of the organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's success through effective IT leadership.

Job Description

The IT Infrastructure Strategist will be responsible for developing and implementing IT architecture, policies, and procedures that support the company's growth and objectives. This includes establishing access, network, backup, and restore protocols, as well as overseeing systems implementation and management. You will also be responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the company's IT requirements, ensuring seamless execution of cybersecurity processes, and maintaining disaster recovery plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement IT architecture, policies, and procedures
  • Oversight of systems implementation and management
  • Establishment and processing of software updates for systems
  • Configuration of network security
  • Maintenance of disaster recovery plan
  • Plan, direct, and oversee the company's IT requirements
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Strong networking skills, including building-scale network planning and management
  • Able to manage security and resilience of the business, balancing robust design and defence-in-depth against user experience
  • Certification and experience in Windows client infrastructure & M365-based active directory, RedHat Linux, and various other applications
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in managing IT environments and overseeing staff
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range $90,000 - $120,000 per annum, enhanced holiday entitlement, hybrid working arrangement (typically 2 days per week in the office), and share options. The company plans to move to larger local offices in the future, which will be easily accessible by train or car.
