About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at Fortem Solutions Ltd in Sheffield. As a key member of our site management team, you will be responsible for leading site teams and subcontractors in undertaking projects tasks, managing sub-contract labour, and ensuring compliance with SHE policies.

Job Responsibilities

  • To have read, understood, and complied with Company Policies and Procedures at all times.
  • Ensure that Company Health & Safety Policies and procedures are strictly adhered to and work closely with Health & Safety Managers and Advisors.
  • Maintain and produce up-to-date Health & Safety records.
  • Ensure all Environmental and Waste Management Policies are adhered to.
  • Ensure that all staff, sub-contractors, and visitors to the site are appropriately inducted.
  • Fully comply with the Company's Customer Satisfaction Policy and Procedures.
  • Ensure all directly employed personnel work within the required specification and adhere to general Company Policies.
  • Hold SMSTS certification.
  • Conduct regular scaffold inspections.
  • Possess a Role Appropriate CSCS card.
  • Hold Asbestos awareness (duty to manage) certification or demonstrate understanding.
  • Demonstrate excellent knowledge of building refurbishment works, particularly high-rise experience is desirable.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • CIOB or Construction-related membership.
  • Experience delivering projects for Affordable housing Clients, specifically refurbishment projects.
  • Quality assurance expertise.
