Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Leonard Cheshire. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our customers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to customers in accordance with their Person Centred Plans.
- Order and administer medication, ensuring safe storage and record-keeping in accordance with internal procedures and NMC guidelines.
- Lead a team of support staff, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the shift.
- Support ongoing assessments, observing any changes in health and well-being, and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure that customers receive physical care, personal hygiene support, and daily tasks in a safe and caring environment.
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- A thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
- An understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
- Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
- Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
