Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Leonard Cheshire. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our customers, leading a team of support staff, and ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to customers, including ordering and administering medication, ensuring safe storage, and recording information in accordance with internal procedures and NMC guidelines.
- Lead a team of support staff, prioritizing and planning tasks, delegating activities, and ensuring the needs of customers are met within a safe and caring environment.
- Support ongoing assessments, observing changes in health and well-being, and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure that customers receive physical care, personal hygiene support, and daily tasks are completed in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
- Understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
- Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
- Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
