About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at St Teresa's, a single-storey home for 27 adults with physical disabilities in Penzance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to our customers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
  • Lead a team of support staff, prioritizing and planning to ensure the smooth management of the shift.
  • Order and administer medication, maintaining accurate records in accordance with internal procedures and NMC guidelines.
  • Support ongoing assessments, observing changes in health and well-being, and maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure a safe and caring environment for our customers.
Requirements
  • Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
  • Understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
  • Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
  • Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
