About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC One. As a key member of our care staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their dignity, security, and independence are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- To assist the Registered Nurse and Care Manager in providing physical and mental stimulation through social and recreational activities.
- To administer medication as required and maintain accurate records of job tasks.
- To lead a team of Care Assistants, promoting high standards of care and influencing the rest of the team.
Requirements:
- A Level 2 Diploma S/NVQ in Health and Social Care is essential, with a willingness to work towards a Level 3 qualification.
- Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for individuals with dementia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a kind and considerate approach.
Salary and Benefits: The hourly rate for this role is £12.50-15.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including free uniform, paid enhanced DBS/PVG, and access to a company pension scheme.
