Trainee Shop Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee Shop Manager. As a Trainee Shop Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of our shops in the Milton Keynes area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of retail professionals to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage shop routines, including stock management, merchandising, and presentation.
  • Control key costs, including payroll, shrinkage, and waste.
  • Meet standards in relation to customer service, cash handling, health & safety, and stock management.
  • Take responsibility for recruitment, training, and development of your team.
What We Offer:
  • A permanent full-time position working a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week.
  • A salary of £29,000-£35,000.
  • A retail manager level 4 apprenticeship standard qualification.
  • Paid time to complete your apprenticeship coursework.
