About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee Shop Manager. As a Trainee Shop Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of retail professionals and driving sales growth in one of our busy shops in the Milton Keynes area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth
  • Lead and motivate a team of retail professionals to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Manage stock levels, control costs, and maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team
  • Work closely with the Area Manager to achieve business objectives

About You

We are looking for a committed and highly motivated individual who is passionate about retail and has a drive to learn and develop in their career. As a Trainee Shop Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team and driving sales growth, so you must be able to motivate and inspire others to achieve their best.

You will be a 'people person' who finds it easy to get on with everyone and is able to build strong working relationships with the people you work with. You will be trustworthy and reliable, and able to remain calm in busy and high-pressured situations.

You will also be organised and able to ensure that all work set by our apprenticeship provider is completed on time and to the best of your ability.
