Workshop Powered Access Engineer Position Overview

Servicing, repairing, and maintaining electrically powered access equipment, including cherry pickers and scissor lifts, is a key responsibility of this role. Additionally, LOLER inspections on powered access equipment and other plant must be conducted, and service records must be kept up to date. The successful candidate will adhere to workshop health & safety rules and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.

Workshop Powered Access Engineer Position Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • CAP qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • A strong electrical background in the powered access or plant industry is required.
  • The ability to work well as a team and alone is essential.
  • Good administrative and organisational skills are necessary.
  • The successful candidate must be commutable to Bedford.
Workshop Powered Access Engineer Position Remuneration

The salary for this role is £32,000-£50,000, dependent on experience. A 40-hour working week is standard, with flexibility in the hours worked. Free lunches are also provided, making this a good working environment. The client's workshop will be relocating to a more central location in Bedford in the future, offering a convenient commute for the successful candidate.
