Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a permanent Domestic Assistant to join our team at Ayrshire Central Hospital. As a key member of our Domestic Services Department, you will be responsible for a variety of housekeeping and cleaning duties, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

You will provide a wide range of domestic services, supporting clinical services across Ayrshire and Arran, in line with NHS Scotland's National Cleaning Services Specification. This will involve working in various areas, including Woodland View (Adult Mental Health wards) and Ayrshire Central Hospital, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Requirements:

While experience with industrial cleaning equipment or working in a healthcare environment is advantageous, full training will be provided. Essential skills include the ability to work independently and as part of a team, good communication skills, and physical fitness. You should also understand the importance of cleanliness in a healthcare environment.

Working Hours:

The successful candidate will work 12.4 hours per week, from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
