Care and Support Assistant Job Description

SCO & NI / SCO WEST / Ayr is seeking a dedicated Care and Support Assistant to join their team. As a Care and Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to clients in their homes or in a care setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assisting clients with mobility and transferring
  • Preparing meals and snacks for clients
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Recording client information and progress

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • 6-months of UK caregiving experience within the past 3 years
  • Registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC)
  • Knowledge of care equipment and handling techniques
  • Teamwork, flexibility, professionalism, and exceptional caregiving skills
