Occupational Therapist Job in Palliative Care

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Occupational Therapist to join our team at Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust. As an Occupational Therapist in Palliative Care, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality occupational therapy services to patients with palliative needs
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Providing education and support to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to service development

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • Registration with the HCPC and relevant postgraduate training or experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with palliative care principles and practices

Salary Range: £42,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience
