About the Role
As an Employment Advisor at Maximus, you will play a vital role in helping individuals overcome barriers to employment and achieve their career goals. You will work directly with a caseload of customers, providing personalized support and guidance to equip them with the necessary skills and confidence to secure and sustain employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of customers, using a variety of coaching strategies to prepare them for interviews and job searching
- Undertake in-depth assessments to understand customers' circumstances, preferences, and barriers to progression
- Co-produce personalized action plans with sequenced interventions and development opportunities
- Collaborate with local specialist services to address specific issues, such as substance misuse, anger management, debt advice, and health and vocational training
- Identify recruitment needs of employers and undertake tailored pre-screens and group assessments
- Co-produce effective in-work support plans with participants and employers
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to ensure excellent customer service
- Comply with company policies, including personal data security, safeguarding, and health and safety
Requirements
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards
- Fully IT literate in using Microsoft Office programmes and modern digital technologies
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to plan and organize workload to meet targets and deadlines
