About the Role
As an Employment Advisor at Maximus, you will play a vital role in helping individuals overcome barriers to employment and achieve their career goals. You will work directly with a caseload of customers, providing personalized support and guidance to equip them with the necessary skills and confidence to secure and sustain employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of customers using a variety of coaching strategies to prepare them for interviews and job searching
- Undertake in-depth assessments to understand customers' circumstances, preferences, and barriers to progression
- Co-produce personalized action plans with sequenced interventions and development opportunities
- Collaborate with local specialist services to address specific issues and provide integrated support
- Identify recruitment needs of employers and undertake tailored pre-screens and group assessments
- Co-produce effective in-work support plans with participants and employers
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to ensure excellent customer service
- Comply with company policies, including data security, safeguarding, and health & safety
Requirements
- Previous experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to plan and organize workload to meet targets and deadlines
- Desirable: experience in the Welfare to Work sector, knowledge of the employability industry, or a recruitment background
