About the Role

This Behavioural Science Researcher in Cancer Prevention position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a world-leading research centre in the field of cancer prevention.

The successful candidate will work on a study evaluating the use of population-based genetic testing for the prevention and early detection of cancer (PROTECT-C).

About You

You will have a PhD or equivalent postgraduate research experience in Health Psychology or a similar discipline and undergraduate degree in relevant subject (Psychology) or equivalent experience.

You will have considerable experience carrying out in-depth qualitative interviews and analysing qualitative data (e.g. thematic analysis) and experience of research in health psychology or another applied health discipline. Knowledge of genetic testing or cancer screening would be an advantage.
